The Last Frontier

Today we are venturing into the last frontier...potty training the final kid.  I bought a huge bag of Dum-Dums and am rewarding him every time he goes potty.  I haven't been exactly sure if Harry was ready to start and if he has the control to actually do it, but he seems interested and I am frankly tired of changing diapers.

It is time to move on.

I still have the potty seat I used with Eli and I have put it smack dab in the middle of the kitchen floor. I think this has been a good strategy.  A couple of times already Harry has actually gone all by himself.  What can I say? He really likes lollipops.

Whatever works! Can you imagine how great life is going to be without diapers. Congratulations!

Good luck! I hope he trains like a champ! My boy/girl twins trained at different times too. I think my girl was trained almost a year before my boy decided it was time. Diaper free is a great way to be!

I'm not ready for that yet but I always borrow a terrific (old-school) book called "Potty Training in Less Than a Day" and it works great! It takes a lot of effort for the first few days but usually does the trick.
