The Pine Cone Hunt

Well, it looks like the sickness has been passed on to Harry and Eli. I am going to need to go get some more white onions this afternoon.

But this morning, we went on a pine cone hunt. Our best location was at Callahan Park, which is up at the tree line of Mount Rose.  It is a beautiful little park.  The babies had fun for about five minutes and then everyone was crotchety, so we didn't last very long. Still, it is a beautiful day today.

I don't have a picture of the pine cones, but we got a whole bag full of them.

Hey, Harry is actually happy and ready for our little hike.

Eli insisted on giving me this flower. What a sweetheart.

Okay, yeah, well, uh, never mind about the happy comment. That didn't take long.

Let's try the park instead.  They loved the swings.

But there were only two swings. Guess who has to wait, and is not happy?

Uh oh, now it's Julia's turn to share.

Not fair, Mom!!!

Don't you love her ensemble? I picked it up at Gymboree yesterday on clearance.

Raef had fun.

And then it came to this. Welcome to my life. Yes, they are all hitting, clawing, pushing, to get the best position around Mom's legs. It was time to go home!
